The problem for me as a person who lives in Texas and loves country music is that the song is neither original or very good. The only thing propelling it forward is that it insinuates that if you come to a small town in which good ole' boys live and do anything wrong (like show up in a small town), a bunch of guys are going to chase you down in a Ford truck and dish out small town justice. That was kind of how they were going to handle any situation anyway. Now, they just have a bestselling, bad song to emphasize that point.
