I worked for a large private college once where the president gave his state of the union speech in which he spent a great deal of time criticizing the women on campus for dressing provocatively so that he personally felt tempted, which as a god-fearing man, was about the worst thing that could happen. And all I could think, while in this audience, is that this 60 year old man is criticizing young women because he apparently had no ability to control his sexual impulses. Every time I hear some man complain about how trashy women dress, I think back on this college president and realize that that's what we're always going to be dealing with. I suspect most people still have no clue where the "problem" actually resides, but they're pretty good at pointing fingers at things that most definitely aren't the actual problem.
