For a lot of people, like a close relative of mine, quitting drinking is almost impossible. She never could understand how I quit after I got out of the service and haven’t had a sip of alcohol 20 years later. After the Army, I just never really had any desire to drink any more.

My heart does go out to everyone who does suffer from this disease, and I wish there was an easy solution but I certainly know it can be difficult.
